This very special bowl is part of the limited, Medieval design range made by the Bozzi pottery in Le Marche. The pattern is a true copy of original Medieval paintings found in the Italian archives. This medium sized ceramic bowl features a mythological dragon, hand painted in a folk art, impressionistic style. The design is painted in pure cobalt blue on an ‘old white’ base colour, and completely glazed.
Hand crafted in a small family workshop, means these pieces are totally unique and no two products are the same. All the ceramics are produced in tiny batches, every time I visit there is always something new to see, in a new colour, shape or design.
As with all the chosen pottery pieces, they are perfect for everyday use, this pottery was started in 1851 to make everyday, practical pieces for the working family.
