You can never have too many jugs in the house! This is a very versatile sized jug that doesn’t have to be for wine, it would make a beautiful vase too. As with all our pieces, this lovely jug has been hand made by the Bozzi pottery in Le Marche Italy, where each piece is hand thrown, painted, glazed and fired in the original workshop that has been in the family since 1851.
Made in one of the traditional colours of the pottery, the jug is a deep forest green and as often used, contrasted beautifully with a delicate, citrine yellow splash and high glossy glaze. The handle is generous and balances perfectly with the size and shape and the base is the natural terracotta clay with the Bozzi signature.
No two pieces are the same and as with all handmade products there are variations and subtle differences.
This jug is 16.5cm tall and has a capacity of approximately 750ml.
